Portrait of Rishika Mihani

Rishika Mihani started working at 15 in a small clothing shop earning ₹2,000 a month. There was nothing glamorous about the beginning, and very little about the path that followed could be described as predictable.

After retail, she moved to a travel agency earning ₹3,000 a month. At 18, she joined Kingfisher Airlines and spent two years flying. Then came another reinvention: television. Rishika went on to spend 12 years as a television actress in India before eventually moving into real estate, an industry that was also part of her family background.

Today, she is CEO & Co-Founder of Wolves International Real Estate in Dubai. The title may look like the destination, but her story is better understood as a series of transitions. Retail. Travel. Aviation. Television. Real estate. Entrepreneurship. Each chapter required a different version of the same person.

That is why adaptability sits at the centre of her philosophy. One of the biggest challenges she describes was learning to become fearless and shameless in the sense of no longer being controlled by the rules she had created in her own head. The world did not always move according to those rules, so she had to become more flexible and learn to let go.

Experience taught her not to take every difficult moment too seriously. What feels like the biggest issue today may look much smaller after time passes. It becomes an experience, and the experience becomes a lesson. That mindset makes movement possible because it prevents one difficult moment from becoming a permanent identity.

Her advice to newcomers entering real estate is equally grounded. She does not present the industry as easy. She recommends arriving with at least six to eight months of financial backup because commission-based work can be unpredictable and competition is intense. Consistency matters, especially when the first results take longer than expected.

She also warns against becoming comfortable after one successful deal. When momentum is working in your favour, that is the time to work harder, not relax. The principle connects directly to her own journey: every chapter created an opportunity to stop, settle, or assume the next step would arrive automatically. Instead, she kept moving.

What motivates her daily is tied to that same idea of progress. She left India for a reason, and the company, the brand, and the 'wolf pack' she has built continue to give that decision meaning.

Her 23-year career across four industries is not a story of finding one perfect lane. It is a story of continuing to evolve as the lane changes. Mistakes are accepted. Lessons are carried forward. The goal remains simple: make tomorrow better than today.

I make mistakes, I accept them, and I move on. I just want tomorrow to be better than today.
